BJP Leader Ramesh Awasthi organised Sanatan Yatra in Kanpur, wrestler khali says Ram mandir is pride of Bharat

Kanpur: Professional wrestler, Dalip Singh Rana known as `The Great Khali’ participated in the Sanatan Yatra being organized by BJP uttar pradesh state executive member and patron of Shri Ram Seva Mission in view of the upcoming consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya on Jan 22.

After participating in the Sanatan Yatra, The Great Khali , who was accompanied by many BJP leaders and social activists like Sang Prant Pracharak Shriram , MLA Surendra Maithani , Bhupesh Awasthi, Anoop Tiwari and Vijay Kapoor in Kanpur told the media that he was feeling great after reaching Kanpur’s famous Ram Lalla temple. “After having a ‘darshan’ of Ram Lala in an old Ram temple here, I am getting a lot of peace and solace,” he said and added, “It is his good fortune that Ramesh Awasthi and Shri Ram Seva mission organization has invited him to participate in this procession of Lord Shri Ram”. Seeing the happiness and affection of the people, with more than 250 cars including many Ram darshan Rath’s including special rath having BJP National President JP Nadda , PM Modi , UP CM Yogi Adityanath and Ram Darbar catches special attraction of lakhs of people in kanpur after seeing all this ‘The Great Khali’ also chanted Jai Shri Ram with them.

Later, he said I came to Kanpur on call of my friend Ramesh Awasthi and said he too will reach Ayodhya very soon to have ‘darshan’ of Lord Shri Ram. Some people are unlucky and even lost their mind as they have refused even after receiving the invitation to go to Ayodhya, he said.

BJP Leader & Sanatan Yatra organiser Ramesh Awasthi said “Sanatan Nav Jagran Ke Mahanayak hai Prime Minister Narendra Modi”. The entire country is standing together on the call of his request, people should light lamps in their homes on the day of ‘Pran Pratistha’. Later he said I will also light lamps in my house and celebrate Diwali with my family,”.

During Sanatan Yatra, 10,000 books of Yatharth Gita and more than 20000 calendars of Lord Ram Mandir including diya were also distributed free of cost.

A huge crowd of people thronged the spot to get a glimpse of Khali.

The Ram Lala temple located in Rawatpur area of the city has a history of 170 years, where a six-inch tall idol of Lord Ram is installed and which is famous all over the world said Rahul Chandel who also participated with his team in Sanatan Yatra as coordinator

Shri Ram Seva Mission national coordinator Sachin Awasthi who wrote letter to PM Modi to declare 22 January as “Sanatan Divas” said huge crowd of youth shows how happy and greatful they are feeling to witness the making of Lord Ram Temple in Ayodhya after 500 years & thankful to everyone who participated in sanatan yatra and made it a historic Yatra.
