M3M group and Indian Air force creates 150 bed free Covid Care Centre in Sector 67 Gurugram

Gurugram : After a call given by Gurugram District Administration, various companies have come forward to lend support in enhancing number of beds and other health care facilities for the Covid infected patients in district Gurugram. Make shift hospitals are coming up under CSR at various sites in Gurugram. First such facility to come up is M3M Covid Care Centre in Sector 67 Gurugram. Appreciating the initiative, Gurugram Deputy Commissioner Dr Yash Garg has appealed other companies to come forward to supplement the efforts of the government in combatting the pandemic. If such facilities are created where they can manage oxygen supply through oxygen concentrators, the companies and NGOs are welcome. He said that as oxygen availability increases or we are able to arrange sufficient number of oxygen concentrators, we will keep on increasing the number of beds for Covid patients here with the assistance of companies under CSR. He said that various companies working in Gurugram have committed to lend support in this.

The M3M Group, through its M3M Foundation is the first to do so. They have teamed up with Indian Air Force to provide all the support of food and medical facilities, including oxygen, for patients in Gurugram. A mobile medical unit is also made available for shifting any seriuos patient from the Covid-care centre to the hospital.

Anil Vij, this Centre has become functional now with 150 beds at our Luxurious Apartments at our project OKR in sector 67 in Gurugram. We thank the Indian Air Force for Joining us with their expertise and necessary support for this initiative and I am grateful to Artemis hospital, Paras hospital and W-Pratiksha hospital for the required support. As a responsible organization, we will help India win the battle against Covid-19, in whatever capacity we can and special thanks to GMDA Chief Sh Sudheer Rajpal , DC Gurugram Dr. Yash Garg and Chairperson NCW Ms Rekha Sharma for their support for making this functional”, said Dr Payal Kanodia, Trustee, M3M Foundation.
This Covid Care center which will be run and managed by the Indian Air Force, is part of M3M foundation’s PAN India initiative “Kartavya” and where the foundation has already supported more than 1,00,000 people at the construction and migrant workers through their food security and other initiatives in the first phase.
